MRE, which means Meal, Ready-to-Eat is a special form of fast-food used by the US Army on the front line or some reserve units. Since the commercial and retail use of these products became very popular, the aim of this creative packaging design was to create a marketable, easily distinguishable and usable system.

While MREs should be kept cool, they do not need to be refrigerated.
